Peachy Bread Pudding with
Rum Sauce Recipe

Get your peach on with this summer inspired bread pudding, made with Simply Peach™ Juice Drink. Top with a peach infused rum sauce for an especially tasty treat.

  • 1/2 cup Simply Peach
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 pound day old brioche, cut into 3/4-inch thick slices
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar


  1. Preheat oven to 325°.
  2. Whisk together Simply Peach and next 5 ingredients in a medium mixing bowl.
  3. Lightly grease an 8-x 8-inch baking pan. Layer bread slices and peaches alternately.
  4. Pour cream mixture gently over the top; sprinkle evenly with brown sugar.
  5. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes before serving with Simply Peach Rum Sauce (recipe below).
  6. Yields 8 servings.

    • Ingredients
    • 1/4 cup butter
    • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup Simply Peach
    • 1/3 cup heavy cream
    • 2 tablespoons dark rum
    • Instructions:
    1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
    2. Stir in brown sugar, Simply Peach, and heavy cream.
    3. Cook over medium heat, 10 minutes, or until thickened, whisking occasionally.
    4. Remove from heat and whisk in rum.
