Chicken Marinade Recipe

For a summery dinner idea, use this Simply Lemonade® Marinade recipe for a citrusy sweet and savory grilled chicken. Your grill and guests will thank you.

Ingredients:

• 1 cup Simply Lemonade
• 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
• 2 cloves garlic, chopped
• 1 small shallot, diced
• 3 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
• Kosher salt and pepper
• 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken breast

Instructions:

1. Whisk together first 6 ingredients. Reserve 1/3 cup marinade.
2. Place chicken in a heavy-duty zip top freezer bag. Add Simply Lemonade marinade and refrigerate for 2 hours.
3. Preheat grill to 350˚ to 400˚ (medium-high heat).
4. Remove chicken from marinade and season with Kosher salt and pepper.
5. Grill chicken covered with grill lid, 40 to 45 minutes, turning occasionally.
6. Drizzle with reserved 1/3 cup marinade just before serving.

Yields 6 servings.
