Simply Orange® Feastable
Cornucopia Recipe

Are you looking for a new Thanksgiving centerpiece idea? This edible version will elicit a cornucopia of compliments this Thanksgiving. Enjoy!


  • White Dough:
  • 6 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 cup of cold water
  • 1/2 cup cold Simply Orange
  • Brown Dough:
  • 3 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup cold Simply Orange


    • For Both Doughs:

  1. Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl, then add the cold liquids.
  2. Mix by hand until you get an elastic dough texture.
  3. Make a ball with the dough, cover it with a clean wrap, and let it sit for 20 min.

    For the Cone:

  4. Use aluminum foil to make a cornucopia cone in your desired shape.
  5. Coat it with non-stick cooking spray.
  6. Roll the doughs out separately, and cut into strips about 1 1/2 inches wide. (Save three white ones for the braid)
  7. Wrap the strips around the cone in alternating colors. If strips dont stick together, mist with water.
  8. Once you've placed your strips and braid, glaze them with Simply Orange.
  9. Bake at 300 degrees for about an hour or until it gets golden brown.
  10. Let cool on a rack, then carefully remove the aluminum foil.
  11. Stuff with your favorite treats and enjoy!
