- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup raw cane sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- Simmer water and granulated sugar over low heat, stirring frequently until sugar dissolves.
Let syrup cool for a few minutes, then pour mixture over cranberries.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Drain cooled cranberries and toss them with raw cane sugar until they are coated.
Place berries on a baking sheet to dry for a few hours.
Toss berries again with granulated sugar if there are still sticky spots, let dry for another hour.
