Simply Orange®
Rosemary Glaze

Drizzling chicken with Simply Orange Rosemary Glaze gives it a kick of citrus with a savory taste of fresh rosemary.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken:
  • 6 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Orange Rosemary and Thyme Glaze:
  • 3 gloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup Simply Orange
  • 3/4 cup chicken stock
  • 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme
  • Rosemary and thyme sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Combine the dried thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper. Rub chicken breasts with the dried mixture, set aside.
  3. Melt butter in a large oven-safe skillet (cast iron preferred), over medium-high heat.
  4. Add chicken to skillet, searing both sides until golden-brown (about 3-4 minutes per side). Set aside.
  5. Sauté chopped garlic in the skillet for about 1 minute. Stir in Simply Orange, chicken stock, maple syrup, honey, thyme and rosemary. Season with salt and pepper to desired taste.
  6. Bring sauce to a lively boil; reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened (about 3-5 minutes). Return chicken to the skillet.
  7. Place skillet into oven and roast until chicken is completely cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit (about 25-30 minutes).
  8. Serve in your favorite dish, garnished with sprigs of rosemary and thyme.
  9. Yields 6 servings.
